CHRIS CORNELL Co-Writes DAVID COOL Single

According to Billboard.com, "American Idol" champ David Cook has selected "Light On", a co-write by SOUNDGARDEN/AUDIOSLAVE frontman Chris Cornell and HINDER/PUDDLE OF MUDD collaborator Brian Howes, as the first single from his debut album.

The track debuts tomorrow (September 24) on AOL and September 30 on iTunes. It will begin impacting U.S. radio outlets this week.
